With the ongoing march of digital fabrication technologies - like 3D printing and laser cutting - boundaries between digital and physical start to disappear. The zero marginal cost society will likely have huge implications for the way we design and make new products.

Hence I started Zazzy in 2013 together with Gert-Jan Spriensma, building a platform enabling the rest of us to create professional products over a cup of coffee. The platform, https://zazzy.co, contains the full flow from easy design tools, photo-realistic renders, production (fully automated 3d model generation, outsourced production), assembly and drop-shipping. It enables individuals and small businesses to start a (web)shop without upfront costs or inventory - with one-offs already providing profits to both the seller and Zazzy.
